Our Mission
For nearly 25 years, Amani’s mission has been to reduce the number of children living in abusive situations and working on the streets in Tanzania. Amani provides a safe nurturing alternative environment for street children where they can heal, learn and grow, with the goal of reintegrating them back into their communities. Amani’s vision is for a brighter future for every child, free from exploitation, and filled with opportunity.
Since the beginning, Friends of Amani US has been committed to Amani's mission, supportive of their work, and completely aligned with their vision. As our motto states: “Rescuing Children, Restoring Hope, and Transforming Lives”
